Help us complete the story

Cenotaph Men Ogema is a community-driven story telling website built by families and communities to honour the men and women who served and defended our nation in times of war.

This section of the Cenotaph Men website for Ogema, Saskatchewan is a living collection of information, pictures and stories that will be completed by Canadians, and by people from around the world who have additional information about the men and women recognized in the Cenotaph project.

Many of the war records of individual Canadian men and women can be found on government websites. Links to the pages that contain a person’s records can be attached to their records on this site.

What can you do to help?

Families can scan and upload photos and videos of family mementos. Some will have pictures, or mementosĀ of a life lived long ago. People today can share a photo of a gravesite, or record a video of their experiences visiting a Cenotaph in Canada, or a war grave overseas. The more people can share, the more soldiers’ stories will come to life.

Please note that a local representative will curate all submissions of stories, images and other information.
